Bears Men's Soccer Rolls Past Bethesda 2-1, Ends Season With A Five Game Win Streak

The Bristol Bears Men's Soccer Team has concluded their inaugural season on a high note defeating Bethesda University 2-1, to push their win streak to five games in a row! The Bears traveled to Bethesda on Monday in a highly anticipated match-up between two cross-town rivals. The game was a hard fought battle between the two sides, with both teams playing great on defense. The defense on both sides was so superb that a winner could not be decided in regulation. The game ended in a   1-1 tie during regulation. It took the overtime period for the Bears to take a hold of the game, and they held on to win with a score of 2-1. The five game win streak sets another record for the Bears, surpassing their earlier win streak of four games in a row.

The Bears have concluded their 2015-16 inaugural season, and they showed they will be a force to reckon with for years to come. Coaches Shane Shelton and Cody Shelton did an excellent job this season recruiting, and preparing their team for the rigors of collegiate athletics. We look forward to the future of our men's program, and the addition of our women's program in 2016-17! Gooooo Bears!
